Tomorrow's the Day!

In 24 hours, we'll be boarding the plane to Beijing. I'm still amazed at how quickly all of this transpired. We were looking at years till a referral... and now we're on our way to pick up one of the most beautiful girls in the world (along with Reagan, of course). I keep looking at her little pouty face and fall more in love.

Today has been spent paying bills, squaring away schedules, cleaning off paperwork that's collected on our desk, and getting some packing done. I think we're so far beyond the weight limit (in China) that we are just not worrying about it. In fact we pulled out check-in-bag #3 to hold Gracelynn's clothes since there is just no way our two bags will hold it all! Oh well, hopefully our fees aren't too outrageous. :-)

Beginning tomorrow I may not be able to respond to emails (at least not often). We'll try to check as often as possible. As soon as I can post on our blog, I'll do that too.

Unless the flight path changes, our plane should be going "over the top". Ben told me to look for Santa Claus. :-) Oh, I can't wait to go. But at the same time, the ache of leaving my other three kids behind is settling in. I'm having big-time mommy-guilt. I hope to get most of the packing done early so we can spend time with the kids tonight. We leave tomorrow early... just before the soccer games begin. :(

I was packing my carry-on bag. What does one pack for a 13-14 hour flight? I mean... really. I have a book, a DVD player, an iPod, a magazine and my journal. I'm so scatter-brained these days, I just don't know how I'll stay focused on anything tomorrow. :-) Wish me luck.

We'll get back on as soon as we can. Good-bye USA. Ni Hao, China!
